| - Crooked Teeth Last night was awesome. I saw people I hadn't seen in ages. I peed in the woods - twice. I kissed a boy and he kissed me back. I've never laughed so hard in my life...and if I tried to explain it in more deatail than that, I'm sure that everyone would be bored to death because it was one of those nights that you look back on and sigh a sigh of happiness because the little things about it made you smile.
But I'm in trouble..because I've already fallen head over heels for a boy who confuses me more than life itself, whose mixed signals I can't decipher no matter how hard I try, and who makes me blush and say stupid things and get butterflies in my stomach. Because he told me that I was pretty, and his arm fits so well around my waist, and I want to kiss him every minute every hour every day, and he called me last night because he wanted to see me.
I probably couldn't sound more girly and stupid at the moment. Whatever.
And I got tickets to the Death Cab concert on the 19th.
And I got new eyeliner and updated my iPod
And its absolutely beautiful out and I'm supposed to be doing my english homework
but I'm in too good of a mood to think about whether or not Gatsby deserves our sympathy or not (which he does. and the great gatsby is such a good book so i think you should read it if you havent had to already)

| - Fair by Remy Zero Hi..wow this is a little weird. I'm sure no one ever comes by here anymore. I mean, I certainly wouldn't if it wasn't updated since January. But just in case theres a chance that some of you do -- well, I'm not dead.
I know I've kind of dropped off the radar a little. I've missed a bunch of you guys, and every now and then I've dropped by Riddles to se if anyone still posts. I didn't mean to completely stop posting, but if I'm being honest, I don't think I'll go back to it. I think for me its one of those things that was so great at one time, and I'd rather leave now than watch it completely die out. I do miss it though..I miss the good old days.
My life is kind of a crazy mess of everything. Summer's been great this year - I went down to Florida for a while, I starting working part time for my dad, and I moved on from a lot of old things I used to dwell on. Mainly guys/relationships from the past, but also a few bad habits and such. I'm trying to get back on the right track, because I hadn't been for a while. I've had so many arguements with my mom this year, about all different things. She caught me drunk and high (on seperate occasions) towards the end of the summer. Please dont get the wrong idea..I'm not some little rich girl who spends all her time drinking and getting fucked up. Yes, I do drink sometimes. And yes, I have smoked pot before. But that doesn't mean that it happens on a regular basis.
About guys..well as I said, I'm trying to start over again, putting past relationships and such behind me for good. I didn't exactly have the best luck with guys this year. Not that all of them were bad, because some of them were so great. But things never seemed to work out. There's this one guy Ian, who I used to really like. He was a real smooth talker, and he just made me feel good about myself. But our relationship was mostly physical, and I wanted it to be more. I guess part of me still wants it to be more, but I ended it, knowing that I cared more than he did. It sucks when that happens. Good News: I met a guy named Zach. He just hapens to be one of the hottest living creatures on the planet, and we have plans to hang out this weekend. Whoop.
I went to Warped Tour a couple weeks ago which was hella cool. I was in a mosh pit haha, and it was crazy. I also crowd surfed which was fucking awesome. I've cahnged my taste in music a bit, to some pretty sweet bands. Among my top favorites: The Shins, Brand New, Louis XIV, Postal Service, Motion City Soundtrack, Guster, The Dandy Worhols. etc. I'm also teaching myself how to play the guitar, which I've always wanted to do. I'm not too good yet, but pshh give me a month or two.

Ahh school tomorrow, which is making me so depressed that our precious vacation is over. I only had off for one freakin week - last year I had almost two! So, so sad *shakes head*  Oh well.

| Ahh this vacation has gone by way too fast. I've accomplished absolutely nothing, except that I've pretty much mastered the art of Sleeping Late. I slept until 2:30 on Monday. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?
Well, actually, my whole vacation hasnt been worthless. I did go out shopping and to the movies (saw Meet the Fockers - funnier than I thought it would be!) and all that. Oh yesh, Christmas!! I totally forgot yeah Christmas took up a good 3 days haha. Here's what Santa brought me:
- AN IPOD!! score score score
- tickets to see JOSH GROBAN! score again
- Burberry Brit (perfume --smells yummy)
- money whoohoo
ANd I won't bore you with the little stuff. But yeah Santa was good to me this year 
Oh and I gained about 140 pounds within 3 days. Christmas Eve we had steak and baked potatoes which was fantastic. Christmas night was had ham and mashed potatoes and gravy and cranberry sauce - so good. THEN we had my whoooole family over (about 29 aunts and uncles, 12389 cousins, and then some people we just call 'family') and we had turkey, pork, lasagna, potaoes, etc etc etc. It was amazing. I was in some kind of heaven.
Oh yeah, I had apple pie too. A la mode.
So theres this guy, Nic. And I happen to be falling for him, which isn't good. We've hooked up a few times in the past, but it was pretty innocent. Basically he's a man-slut, because he gets with soo many girls lol and I make fun of him for it. But now I'm starting to like him, which isn't good because he's such a player, and we're also friends so I don't want to mess anything up. He's just such a cool guy. ANd he's hot lol which is a plus. *sigh* I don't know, I have to find a new crush.
Oh yeah, and Bess, when are we gonna battle it out huh? We have to set a date for it, because that would be so worth seeing. I'm pumped! | | |
